# Maitento > Maitento is a hosted platform for building AI applications with zero infrastructure. You describe agents, tools, > knowledge bases, memory, teams, apps, sandboxes and coding agents as small project files, deploy them with one > command (or an SDK call), and Maitento runs them on your own model keys. This file is the product overview for agents. The documentation has its own llms.txt, with every docs page as Markdown: https://docs.maitento.com/llms.txt. Start there to build anything. ## Building blocks - Agents: a model and its instructions. Interactions give agents a job: one-shot, round-robin conversations, routers that pick a specialist each turn, and managed teams where a manager dispatches work. - Swarms: an agent with allowSwarm starts other interactions as sub-runs, in parallel, within limits. - Tools (external operations): an OpenAPI connector plus what the agent sees. Bindings fix values the model never sees; values can come from each run; secrets are added by Maitento; a tool can require a person's approval. - Knowledge: upload documents into a knowledge base and search them by meaning (chunking, embeddings and vector search built in). - Memory: a loom gives an agent long-term memory, per person or shared, woven from conversations. - Apps: scripts (.mtc) that chain steps, call tools, read and write files, and start capsules; run on demand or on a schedule. - Capsules: throwaway Linux sandboxes with time limits, for running real code against real files. - Code pipelines: coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and others) that change git repositories in a sandbox and push a branch; hooks can loop work back until tests pass. - Web tools: built-in web search and page reading (HTML, PDF, Office documents, images). - Runs: every run's conversation, tool calls, timing and tokens, over live events, signed webhooks and the portal. - SDKs for TypeScript (@maitento/sdk on npm), Python (maitento on PyPI) and C# (Maitento.Sdk on NuGet), and the mt CLI. ## Pricing (launch pricing, USD, before tax) Plans, billed annually per month (monthly in brackets): Free $0, Dev $29 ($35), Builder $129 ($149), Team $319 ($375), Scale $949 ($1,099), and Enterprise by contract. Unlimited users on every plan. Model tokens are never charged: you bring your own provider keys. Usage past a plan's allowance is metered per second, only while running.
